Carnie Lou Arrington

Carnie Lou Arrington, 86, of Huntington, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Jamie Gump on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 2 pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park. Carrie was born February 28, 1930 in Griffithville, WV to the late Rollie and Kate McMellon Huffman. She was a homemaker and member of Madison Avenue Christian Church. In addition to her parents Carnie was preceded in death by her husband Talmadge Arrington and a son Benny Ray Meadows. She is survived by a brother Boyd (Carlote) Huffman of Chicago, IL; five sisters, Ava McMullen, Anna Waugh of Huntington, Joan (Bill) Kistler of Chesapeake, VA, Sue (Ralph) Ramirez of Punta Gorda, FL, Linda (Ed) Ore of Ona, WV; a daughter-in-law Cheryl Meadows of Huntington; and special thanks to her caregivers Cathy and Rodger Dowdy and Darcey the Hospice nurse. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Hospice of Huntington, 1101 6th Avenue, Huntington, WV 25701. Friends may call from noon until service time on Monday at the Reger Funeral Home.
