Hearl Faulkner, Sr.

Hearl Faulkner Sr., 83, of Prichard, West Virginia, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021. He was born September 4, 1938 in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Daniel Deloss and Myrtle Lee (Ward) Faulkner. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years as an Electrical Engineer, and went onto work for the VSE Corporation as an Engineer Consultant. He is preceded in death by father, mother; and brother, Herman. Left to cherish his loving memory, siblings, Martha (Jeff) Nichols, and David (Patricia) Faulkner; spouse, Rosalinda P. Faulkner of Portsmouth, Virginia; wonderful children, Lizel P. Faulkner (Darrell) Mathews of Atlanta, Georgia, Hearl P. (Jennifer) Faulkner Jr. of Wake Forest, North Carolina, Franco P. (Melissa) Faulkner of Portsmouth, Virginia, and Carlo P. (Talisha Williams) Faulkner of Portsmouth, Virginia; and a host of grandchildren, Darius (Kaylee) [Kyra, Kyla, Kobi], Daliyah, Denzel, Larenz; Kallie, Ian, Sophie, Brett, Cooper; Aaliyah, Mikaela, Primo, Luchana; Jade, Isaiah, Lillian; and loving long time friend, Irene Freeman of Prichard, West Virginia. A memorial service will be conducted on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 1 pm at the Reger Funeral Home Ceredo-Kenova Chapel, Ceredo, WV. Burial will follow in Cyrus Cemetery, Prichard, WV. Friends may call from 12:30 pm until service time. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or your local animal shelter. Those attending are asked by the family to follow CDC guidelines of social distancing and wearing a mask. Reger Funeral Home Ceredo-Kenova Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
