Reo Hewlett Gifford, 84, of Huntington, widow of Glen E. Gifford, passed away Sunday December 1, 2013 at Rivers Bend Health Care, South Point, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Wednesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Jacque Parlato. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Huntington. She was born September 1, 1929 in Louisa, KY, a daughter of the late William and Nancy Burchett Hewlett. She was a retired employee of National Mattress Company and a member of the Madison Ave. Christian Church. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter in law Carla Gifford; brother Dayton Hewlett and sister Maudie White. Survivors include a son Phillip E. Gifford of South Point; Grandson Christopher Gifford of Huntington; brother and sister in law Clyde and Wilma Hewlett of Florida; sister Ruby Adkins of Huntington and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Home.
