William "Putter" Roy Mckeand

William Roy �Putter� McKeand, 76 of Huntington departed this life on January 8, 2012 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born in Ceredo, WV on February 19, 1936 and was the son of the late Henry G. and Ophelia Keyser Mckeand. He graduated from Buffalo High School in 1954 and was retired from ACF Industries. Putter was also a Church of Christ Minister. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norva (Wallace) Trautwein McKeand in 2005. Four brothers: Ronnie in 1990, Danny in 1994, John in 1996 and Jake in 2006. He is survived by two brothers: Robert (Donna) McKeand of Huntington and Ralph McKeand of Wayne County; and one sister, Sallie (James) Robinette of Huntington, WV. Also surviving is one step-son, Sam Trautwein of Wayne, WV and four sisters-in-law: Donna King, Maxine McKeand, June Davis and Sandra McKeand, two step-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. The family extends special thanks to Grayson�s Caring Hands and Loving Hearts. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Charles Groves officiating.
