Agnes Hammond Davenport

AGNES HAMMOND DAVENPORT, 90, of Ceredo, W.Va., left this world on July 8, 2014, at Saline Michigan Evangelical Home. By her side in death were her daughter, Sandra Davenport-Stapish, Sandra's husband Clair and their daughter Deanna Stapish-Stocker. Agnes also is survived by one son, Ralph James Davenport who resides in Florida with his wife Sally. Their sons are Danny of West Virginia and Dale of Florida. Agnes also has three great-grandchildren. Agnes was the daughter of the late Ranson and Lura Pack-Hammond. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband Willis Lawrence Davenport along with five sisters and four brothers. She has one surviving brother, Lowell Hammond from Warfield, Ky. Agnes will always be remembered for being a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. She was a very kind and giving person. Family and friends were her passion and delight. Funeral services will be held at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Rev. Rick Weber in Huntington, W.Va., Friday, July 11, 2014, at noon. Friends may visit from 10 a.m. to noon.
