Alesha Anna Bortel Meade

Alesha Anna Bortel Meade, 47 of Huntington, passed on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Dock’s Creek Cemetery. Alesha was born on August 5, 1971 in Huntington to Steven Lawrence and Connie Bortel. She loved flowers, gardening, animals and her pets.  Accepting of all people with a huge heart, Alesha was kind and compassionate and she had a host of friends.  She was preceded in death by her mother in law Corenna Meade.  Survivors include her husband Robert Meade; sons Alex Fortson, Tyler Meade and Tanner Meade; a very precious grandchild Riley Meade; brother Jacob Bortel; a host of nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles including a very special uncle and aunt Roger and Sandy Hinchman and a very special cousin who was like her sister Mary Ann Hinchman.  Friends may call from 11 am until service time on Saturday at the Reger Funeral Home.  Condolences may be made to the family at www.regerfh.com .
