Alfred Richard Torlone

Alfred R. Torlone, 80, of Huntington, WV, went home to be with The Lord after a brief stay at Huntington Health & Rehabilitation Center on Monday, December 24, 2012. Funeral liturgy will be conducted on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 2:00 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church By Father Dean Borgmeyer. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington, WV. Al was born on June 25, 1932, in Logan, WV, a son of the late Peter and Carmella Torlone. He was preceded in death by his first wife, the mother of his children, Wanda Smith Torlone, his son Steve Torlone and his second wife, Sue Ann Sinozich Torlone. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Dominic Torlone. He was retired from Torlone's Bakery in 1995, a US Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Sid (Robin) Torlone of Huntington, WV and Lindsey (Karen) Torlone of South Point, Ohio. Three grandchildren, Rachel Torlone and Private 1st Class Tyler (Beth) Torlone of Huntington, WV and Lt. Travis (Ginny) Torlone of Jacksonville, FL. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington or St. Joseph Catholic Church. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at the Reger Funeral Home.
