Allene "Cookie" Hall

Allene "Cookie" Logan Hall, 84, of Huntington, WV, passed away on Saturday December 7, 2024.

Cookie was born in Huntington West Virginia to the late Albert N. and Verna M. Logan.  She was a graduate of Marshall University and Vinson High School where she met the love of her life and husband of 63 years, Paul.  Together they owned and operated Atomic Distributing Company for over 60 years.  Cookie was a proud supporter of Marshall University and the University of Kentucky. She was a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church, past member of the Jr. League and Women’s Club and the West Virginia and National Beer Wholesalers associations.  Cookie and Paul enjoyed worldwide travels with their families and had a special "Summer Place" in Hilton Head SC. They especially enjoyed boating the east coast on their boat “The Momentum.”

Cookie was very proud of her family and was the best Nana to her grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She enjoyed attending their sporting events, supporting their educations and taking them on once of a life time travels.  In addition to her parents and husband, Cookie was preceded in death by two sisters Petie Romano and Jeanne Logan Scott and a son-in-law Rob Phipps.

She is survived by daughters Valerie H. Phipps and Catherine " Kitty" (Jeff) Schneider. Grandchildren Logan (Haley) Phipps, Emily (Seth) Ransbottom, Marilyn Schneider and Paul Schneider.  Great grandchildren Olivia and Robbie Phipps, Rhett Ramsbottom, a special sister-in-law, Sue Arnold and many nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held Thursday December 12, 2024 at Reger Funeral Home, Huntington, from 11:00 am-1:00pm with services at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at RoseHill Burial Park, Ashland Kentucky.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington or Little Victories Animal Rescue Shelter.  Condolences may be made to the family at www.regerfh.com.
