Alonzo Clinton Ball

Alonzo �Lonnie� Clinton Ball, 80, of Kenova passed away December 2, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 7 PM with Pastor Ron Scarberry officiating; burial to follow at 2 PM, Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Docks Creek Cemetery with full military honors performed by the American Legion Post 93 of Kenova, WV and the U.S. Navy. There will be no procession to the cemetery on Sunday. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 PM on Friday, December 6, 2013 at the funeral home. He was born September 13, 1933 in Logan, WV; a son of Dewey and Zell (Elkins) Ball. Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents, sister Lorraine Williams and a special friend Inga Browning. He is survived by his sister Betty O�Keefe of Phoenix, AZ and four sons: Kenneth Ball, Dewey (Lesa) Ball of West, TX, Bill Ball and Danny (Rosetta) Ball. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Kassi (Michael) Lamere of Waco, TX, KC Ball and Austin Ball of West, TX, Tucker Ball and Faith Ball of Kenova, WV, the mother of his children, Charlotte Lynn Ball and the first great-grandchild on the way that will be named, Bentley Ryan Lamere.
