Amy Jane Hodge

Amy Jane Pack Hodge born on 4/15/1963, passed on to her eternal Heavenly home at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House on 2/7/2024. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jane Lee Fox; father, Larry Allen Pack; son, Kenneth Lane Hodge; daughter, Janie Marie Gillman; and grandson, Austin Hodge. She is survived by her son, Ronald Zachary Hodge; sister, Pamela Pack; grandchildren, Mackinnley Hodge, Destiny Hodge, Tierra Carter, Tyler Gillman, Talon Gillman, Shane Akers, Breanna Hodge, Will Hodge, Jake Hodge and Aleethia. She is also survived by a very special nephew, Tyler Workman; cousin, Tammy Thompson; and the rest of the six pack, Theresa Evans, Tina Keaton, Debbie Walls and Tonya Walls Jones. She also leaves behind her uncles, aunts, cousins; and a host of friends whom she loved dearly. Amy Jane loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Her greatest joy was spending time and doing things for and with her children and grandchildren. She loved going to the lakes in the summer, going to ballgames and just being the best NAN that she could be. She was also giving to anyone in need, always willing to give a helping hand, never expecting anything in return. Regardless of what life put in front of her, she faced it with courage and her unwavering smile. Amy faced her battle with cancer head on and fought a courageous battle until the end. She never fought alone and had her warriors by her side. She never gave up and with her final breath she declared victory and went victoriously into her final resting home. The family would like to thank Cabell Huntington Hospital and all the teams that took care of her during her treatment and her hospital stays as well as the Hospice house for their gentle care of not only Amy but of her family and friends. A memorial service will be conducted at 6 pm on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Friends may call from 5-6 pm at the Reger Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to help with the cost of her final expenses.
