Anna Louise "Babe" Miller

Anna Louise 'Babe' Newton Miller, passed away on October 1, 2015. She was born on July 7, 1925 in Ansted, WV, the daughter of James E. and Amma McClung Newton. She married the love of her life, Lloyd D. Miller on October 11, 1942. He preceded her death on August 24, 1997 after 55 years of marriage. She is survived by her son, George Richard 'Richie' Miller and wife, Martha of Louisville, KY; two grandchildren, Stephanie and husband, Sacha Klap and Damon Miller; two great-grandsons, Charles and Jules Klap, all of Louisville, KY; and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces, and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, William, Otto, George, and Dillon Newton; and two sisters, Leona Crank, and Laurine Randant. Funeral services will be held at Reger Funeral Home and Chapel in Huntington, WV at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2015 with visitation one hour prior to services. The Reverend Tim Arthur of Twenty Sixth St. Baptist Church, of which she was a member for more than 60 years, will lead the celebration of her life. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville, WV.
