Anna Mae Donahoe

Anna Mae Donahoe, 89, of Huntington, WV widow of Donald Donahoe passed away on Monday February 12, 2024 at Legacy Riverview, South Point, Ohio. Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at the Jones Cemetery, Wayne, W.Va. She was born on July 27, 1934 in Huntington, WV the daughter of the late Oscar and Pauline Adams Morrison. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Freelin and Naman Morrison. She is survived by her sons, Roger(Deanna) Donahoe, of Huntington and Darrell (Cindy) Donahoe of Georgia. Her grandchildren, Alexis (JD) Rappold of Huntington, WV, Carrie(Mitchell) Bowers, Kristen (James) Norris and David Donahoe all of Georgia. Four great grandchildren, Keighly and Karly Bowers, Kaycin Banks and Khaine Wilson. One sister and brother-in-law, Virginia (Bob) Phillips; and a sister-in-law, Gail Morrison. In her early years she worked for the Department of the Navy. She became a housewife to raise her two beloved sons. After her sons were raised she worked at the Social Security Administration Office of Hearings and Appeals until her retirement. Her greatest joys were spending time with her family and traveling. She was very proud of the fact the she visited all 50 states. The family would like to thank the staff of Cabell Huntington Hospital 5 North, Legacy of Riverview and Hospice of Huntington for the excellent care she received in final months.
