Ardith Marie Morris

Ardith Marie Morris, 89, of Huntington, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Ardith was born February, 24, 1926 in Cabell County, WV to the late Omah Angel White and Charles Henry Adkins. Ardith was a retired employee of C&P Telephone Company. She was also an avid bowler and a member of Westmoreland Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at White Chapel Mausoleum by Dr. C.J. Adkins. Burial will follow. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Morris; two brothers Ernest Adkins and Clarence George Adkins; and a sister Rosalie Brick. She is survived by a brother Donald Adkins of Huntington; a sister Wyonna Winters of Nevada; a sister-in-law and caretaker Genevieve “Jenny” Adkins of Huntington and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at White Chapel Mausoleum, Barboursville.
