Arnold Daniel Kidd

Arnold Daniel Kidd, 86, of South Point, Ohio, died June 6th, 2016. Arnold was born in Winding Gulf, WV and the son of the late Jessie and Alice Kidd. He served in the US Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War. Arnold was president of McDaniel Electric and a member of IBEW for 59 years. He was also a member of Rockwood Baptist Church for 40 years. Arnold was preceded in death by his wife, Effie Nell Kidd and daughter Lori Kidd. He is survived by his son David Kidd (Regenia) of Proctorville, Ohio and his grandson, Dr. Brent Kidd (Ashley) of Birmingham, Ala. and a special brother in law Charles Minor (Linda) of Proctorville. In lieu of flowers Arnold had requested donations be made to Rockwood Baptist Church, 612 Rockwood Ave., Chesapeake, Ohio or Hospice of Huntington, 1101 6th Ave., Huntington, WV 25701. Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Friday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Jerry Galloway. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, Ohio.
