Assaf Saliba, 95, of Huntington, passed away Thursday January 3, 2013 at Heartland of Riverview, South Point, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Saadah Saliba, his brother Nicola Saliba, his sister Surhea Saliba, eight children and his loving wife Farezza Saliba. He is survived by his three sons, George Saliba and Ghassan (Robin) Saliba both of Florida, Milad (Carla) Saliba of Huntington; five daughters Jaquline (Rafeek) Allam of Florida, Anganein Ayoub of Florida, Souad Saliba of Syria, Ragheda (Nabeil) Al-Hadad of Germany, Miatta (Sarkeese) Saad of Australia, a very special nephew whom he considered his son, Elias Saliba of New Jersey and 35 grandchildren. The family would like to thank Dr. David Apgar and the staff of Heartland of Riverview South Point for all their care and support. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday at the Holy Spirit Orthodox Church, Huntington, by Father John Dixon. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Home. A Trisagion Prayer Service will be conducted at 7:30 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
