Barbara Ann Gibson

Barbara Ann Gibson, 77, of Huntington, WV went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel with Pastor Darrell Buttram. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Memorial Gardens. Barbara was born on January 12, 1939 in Huntington, WV the daughter of the late Jay and Anna Merle Carter McDowell. Barbara was a graduate of THE Huntington High, member of the Red Hats and attended Ceredo Methodist Church. She is survived by her two sons Gregory Kent and Lesa Sias, Jeffery Brent Sias and Paula Lucas. Three grandchildren Kaleb, Jeremiah and Noah Sias and two step grandchildren Dan and Josh Spence. One great grandchild Jaylon Sias; three brothers and two sisters in law Donald Lee and Dorothy McDowell, James Franklin McDowell and Larry Gene and Barbara McDowell; one sister Juanitia Taylor Heiner; many family and friends including Dr. Eugina Jarrell and Olivia Jarrell, Ruth Reger, Alberta McDowell ,Virginia Carroll, and Dee Cole and the Red Hats.
