Barbara Gail Fortner

Barbara Gail Fortner 66, of Barboursville W.Va., passed away November 15, 2022. She was proceeded in death by her husband Charles Fortner; daughter, Sherry Bailey; and grandchildren, Erika Bailey and Zayne Tucker. She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Tucker (Richard) of Ona, W.Va.;grandchildren, Kayleen Gardner (JD), Jaren Bailey, Karlei Bailey, Zavier Tucker, Zayden Tucker, Zander Tucker, Ivy Tucker; and great grandchildren, Urijah and Samiyah Gardner. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a retired security guard from the Huntington State Hospital. She was a hard worker and a cancer warrior who fought cancer three times starting in 2004. She loved to cook and no one ever went hungry when she was around. She was an animal lover. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at noon at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Dale Barnett.
