Barbara Jean Cumptan

Barbara Jean Cumptan, 85 of Huntington, WV passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.  She was born September 7, 1938 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Claude Virgil and Lucille Pelfrey Hunphrey.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jan G. Cumptan and her son Ricky Allen Cumptan.  Survivors include one sister, Claudine (Richard) Harrison, and four nephews: Michael Scott (Misty) Davies, Paul Allen (Megan) Davies, Edwin R. (Angela) Harrison and Rick Harrison; in addition the following great nieces and nephews: Brieanne Davies, Courtney Hammer, Cory Scott Davies, Ian Davies, E.J. Harrison, Ben Harrison, Vinny Mansell , Brody Davies and one great great niece Zella Davies. Reger Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. There are no services scheduled at this time.
