Barbara Jean Kipp

Barbara Jean Kipp, aged 69 of Huntington, WV completed her earthly journey Thursday, September 7th 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 2:00pm at SpringHill Cemetery, Huntington, WV

She is survived by her children and their respective partners: Paul D. Hannon and Susan M. Insco of Hillsborough, NC and Lisa R. Hannon and Joshua A. Thompson of Huntington, WV; her brother and sister-in-law Michael and Lisa Hannon of Gold Hill, NC; her Aunt Virginia Earwood of Rome, OH; her cousins Wanda "Sis" Adkins of Dandridge, TN and Jeanette Hannon of Scottown, OH; as well as her dear friend Gail Winkler of Huntington, WV and her cat Sophie.

She is preceded in death by her parents Alberta and Lee Roy Hannon, her brother Lee Roy "Peedy" Hannon Jr. and her husband of 16 years Paul D. Kipp. Barbara retired after 36 years of service at Cabell Huntington Hospital where she made many enduring friendships. Her golden years were spent joyfully with her friends and family, tending to her beautiful flower gardens and laying odds on games of chance. Her kind nature and motherly instincts were extended to all those around her. She always had a meal and a sensitive ear to anyone in need. A truly special and one of a kind woman, she will be deeply missed.
