Bernard W. Rowe

Bernard W. Rowe, 74, of Kenova passed away on Friday, March 19, 2010 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Mr. Rowe proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and retired from Owens Illinois Co. where he worked as a machine operator. Graveside funeral services will be at 11am Tuesday, March 23rd at Bowen-Luther Cemetery in Shoals, WV with Pastor Manfred Langer officiating. He was born in Wayne Co. the son of the late Lawrence Rowe and Carrie Legg Rowe. Surviving him are his loving wife, Sherry, four sons and spouses, Larry Rowe (Mary Ann) of Huntington, Jeffrey Rowe (Debbie) of Huntington, Michael Rowe (Sherry) of Prichard and Brett Rowe, of Kenova: seven grandchildren, Joschua Rowe, Rachel Gibson, Stacy Wallace, Amy Colangelo, Michael Ryan Rowe (Fianc� Angelo Riggs), Haleigh Rowe (Fianc� Ed Aliff) and Sarah Rowe, six Great Grandchildren, one brother, Emmitt Rowe, and a special Aunt Ethel (Granny) Vance. Visitation will be Monday 6-8pm at Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, 3100 Staunton Road, Huntington, WV 25705, these also may be made at the funeral home.
