Bessie Lou Hutchinson

Bessie L. Hutchinson, 69, of Ceredo went to be with the Lord on Saturday July 31, 2010. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and �Nin�. Bessie was born October 22, 1940 to the late William and Mary Belle (Wellman) Midkiff. She was very involved in the Ceredo community. She was one of the first female EMT�s on the Ceredo Volunteer Fire Department, as well as a member of the Ceredo Fire Department Auxiliary, Ceredo Beautification Committee, and First Baptist Church of Ceredo. She had also been a Boy Scout Leader and a longtime member of the PTA at Ceredo Elementary. Bessie is survived by her husband Russell, daughters Mary Rayburn and Janie Hutchinson, sons Gilbert (Becky) Hutchinson, Gordon (Lisa) Hutchinson, Michael (Juli) Hutchinson, and Bill (Linda) Hutchinson. Additional survivors include her sister Pat Sayers and her husband Mike, ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Ceredo with Pastor Rodney Hale officiating. Burial will follow in the Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12pm until time of service at the church. Flowers are appreciated but expressions of sympathy should take the form of donations to Ceredo Volunteer Fire Department. These may be made at the church. Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
