Betty J. Ray

Betty J. Ray, 86, of Huntington, passed away peacefully at the Emogene Dolin Hospice House of Huntington, on Monday October 3, 2016. Funeral liturgy will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church by Father Thomas Graven. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. She was born September 21, 1930 in Buffalo, WV, a daughter of the late Fred and Glenna Bolt Lunsford. Betty graduated from Huntington High School, was an employee at Owens-Illinois and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she was a member of the Sacred Heart Guild and St. Ann’s Circle. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Glenn Ray; brother and sister in law Bill and Patty Lunsford and brother in law Charles “Chuck” Chandler. Survivors include two sons and a daughter in law Shawn Ray and Brian and Leigh Ray; one daughter and son in law Cheri and Harry Musgrave; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister and brother in law Patsy and Ted Zaborniak and sister in law Gaynor Chandler.
