Betty Jean Fisher

Betty Jean Caldwell Fisher, 85, of Ashland, formerly of Kenova died Monday, July 2, 2012 at the Woodland Oaks Care Center. She was born January 28, 1927 in Brahone, WV to the late Lee and Bessie Farra Workman. Mrs. Fisher was a member of the Rockdale Full Gospel Assembly. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Joseph Caldwell. Survivors include two daughters Judy Hibner of Florence, KY, Carolyn Skeens of Kenova; three sons Frank Caldwell Jr. of Miller, OH, Denver Caldwell of Cummings, GA, and Larry Caldwell of Kenova. Additional survivors include nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; along with a brother Fred Workman of Cleveland, OH, and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters Ruth Stewart, Edith Rakes, Louise Raylog, and Jenny Reeves and a brother Earl Workman. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Thursday at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Willis officiating. Burial will follow in the Docks Creek Cemetery.
