Betty Jean Freeman

Betty Jean Freeman of Huntington, WV, loving mother, passed over to be united with her Heavenly Father on Thursday January 25, 2024, at Legacy of Riverview Health Care, South Point, Ohio.  She was born February 27, 1927 in Glen Rogers, WV, to the late Homer Easterwood and Gladys Oxley Murphy.  She was a homemaker and member of the Central Church of the Nazarene, Huntington, WV, where she taught Sunday School for many years and served on the church board.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Morris Freeman, I, and son, James Morris Freeman, II; son in law Dennis Patterson and sisters Norma Sue Irving and Margaret "Peggy" May.  She is survived by two daughters Charalee (Rodney) Fliehman and Angela Gail Patterson; daughter in law Merri Beth Freeman; seven loving grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.  She will be sadly missed by a host of family and friends.  Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Tuesday January 30, 2024 at the Central Church of the Nazarene by Pastor Ronnie Adams.  Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington.  Friends may call from noon until service time on Tuesday at the church.  Reger Funeral Home, Huntington, is assisting the family with arrangements.  Condolences may be made at www.regerfh.com.
