Betty Mynes, 88, of Huntington, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Teays Valley Center, Hurricane, WV. She was born September 18, 1933 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Grover E. and Nola B. McCoy Adkins. Betty was the owner of Handicap City for many years. Betty trained the handicapped and mentally disabled for work and hired them to work her business. Betty would help flood victims with food, clothing, furniture. Every Holiday she would visit Mental and Veterans Hospitals with gifts and fruit baskets. She would give you her last dollar and think nothing of it! Betty will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, George Delawder and nine siblings, Richard, Glenn, Robert, Larry, Eloise, Ulalee, Mary, Nancy, and Patty. Survivors include her son, Kelly Mynes; daughter, Theresa Radden; five grandchildren, Alec, James, Mandy, Jason, and Kelly Jr.; twelve great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
