Bettye Louise Browning

Bettye Louise Browning, 86, of Huntington, WV passed away on July 4, 2013 at her residence. Graveside services will be conducted at Hillcrest Cemetery on Monday, July 8, 2013 at 11 A.M with Rev. Rodney Hale officiating. She was born on September 5, 1926 in Sherman, TX, a daughter of John and Opal Alexander. Bettye was a proud member of First Baptist Church of Ceredo, where she had a wonderful church family. Bettye was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Kady Browning, and her brother, Jack Alexander. She leaves behind to mourn her loss her niece Diane and her nephews, Danny and William Raymond; and a host of other nieces and nephews that brought her great joy. Also surviving is her brother-in-law Dan Cornwell and her special friend Harry. The family wishes to thank the following doctors for her wonderful care: Dr. LePonta, Dr. Snavely, Dr. Eastone, Dr. Morgan and especially, Dr. Dewayne C. Tackett. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 8th at the First Baptist Church of Ceredo at noon. Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home is entrusted with her care.
