Billy Eugene Lambert, 85, of Crown City, Ohio, passed away Friday March 15, 2013 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Friday at the Highland Cemetery, Saltwell Rd., Huntington, by Rev. Jeff Cremeans. Burial will follow. He was born February 28, 1928 in Huntington, WV a son of the late John Tracy and Frances Wheeler Lambert. He was a retired franchise owner of a Sam’s Hot Dogs. Billy was also attended Big Branch Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson Caleb; brother and sister, Robert D. Lambert and Nancy Biehl. Survivors include his son John K. Lambert of Chesapeake, Ohio and his fianc Becca H.; three daughters and sons in law Charvette E. and Barry Dailey of Proctorville, Ohio, Anzo A. “Annie” and Kenneth Alan Pannell of Crown City, Danielle M. and Pete Dickson of Proctorville; grandchildren Justin, Derek, Garrett, Cody, Corey, Brandon H., Tristan, Noah, Joshua, Josiah, Brandon D., Maranda and Sara; four great grandchildren Mariah, Brandon D. Jr., Haley and Dakota; sister Gloria Jean Lambert of Topeka, Kansas and several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation or procession to the cemetery.
