Billy Gene Flemings

Billy Gene Flemings went home to be with the Lord on March 26, 2018 in Huntington, WV at the age of 73. He was known as “Wild Bill Flemings” who later became “Tame.” The Lord changed his heart and blessed him with many years after a lifetime of illness. He was a strong, humble man who loved his family dearly. He will be missed by many. Billy was born on August 19, 1944 in Switzer, Logan County, WV, to his late parents Mary Eldridge and Bill Fleming (Audrey) but raised by his late grandparents Richard and Della Eldridge. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Shirley Blankenship and his two brothers Kenny and Jerry Fleming. Billy is survived by his two sisters, Debbie Calloway and Helena Barnett; two brothers, Ronald and Harold Fleming. He is also survived by his second wife and caretaker for more than 30 years, Brenda Flemings (Mommy). He has three surviving daughter, Billie Brewster (Eli), Debbie Flemings (Thomas), Crystal Flemings (Seth) and seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Keith Watters on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 2:30 pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Insco Cemetery, Wayne, W.Va.
