Billy Jack Hazelett

Billy Jack Hazelett, 80, of Huntington, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday September 2, 2020 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington.  He was born June 6, 1940 in Huntington, a son of the late Howard F. and Jewell Perdue Hazelett.  He was the owner/operator of Triple “H” Drive Inn in Lavalette,  a member of Trinity Chapel  on 8th St. Road and he enjoyed his hot rods and going to car shows.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Donna Jean O’Dell Hazelett and brother Howard “Buck” Hazelett.  Survivors include his precious daughter and son in law Justina and Rob Adkins; three very special grandsons Colby Jack, Brett and fiancé Selena and Derrik Adkins; special sister Nina (Joe)Overby; brother in law Roger (Marsha) O’Dell and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be conducted at 3 pm Sunday at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington, by Preacher Shirley Ball and Preacher Rick Perdue.  Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Wayne, WV.  Pallbearers will be Matt Black, Dale Hazelett, John Irvin, Dave Gilbert.  Visitation will be from 1 pm until service time on Sunday at the Reger Funeral Chapel.  Flowers are appreciated but not expected, the family is asking for love and prayers.  Condolences may be made to the family at www.regerfh.com .
