Birdie Maxine Cole

Birdie Maxine Hall Ellis Cole, 91, of Ceredo, WV, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April18, 2010 at St. Marys medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at noon at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Rev. Rodney Hale. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Birdie was a retired inspector with 33 years at Owens Illinois and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ceredo. Birdie was born on August 16, 1928 in Ceredo, WV the daughter of the late Sidney Lee and Mary Lucille Perdue Thacker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Hall, Herschel Ellis and Joe Cole. Four brothers Forrest, James, Paul and Sigel Thacker, two sisters: Catherine Wotring and Violet Lucas and one granddaughter: Brianna Hall. She is survived by her two sons and daughters in law: James and Jewell Hall of Huntington, WV and Gene and Pamela Hall of Roanoke, VA, and one daughter and son in law: Marlene and Kenneth Kirby of Cincinnati, Ohio. Fourteen grand children, 30 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 11:00am until services time on Wednesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel.
