Bonnie Cecile Adams

Bonnie Cecile Wilson Adams, 76, of Huntington, West Virginia ran to heaven’s gate on July 6, 2024. She lived a rich life full of faith and service for others. Visitation is 10:30-12:00 PM with funeral service to follow on Thursday July 11, 2024 at Central United Methodist Church. Bonnie will be laid to rest at Spring Hill Cemetery with her parents and grandparents.

Bonnie was a graduate of Vinson High School and Marshall University. She was an educator in Cabell County for over 30 years. She was a reading volunteer at Guyandotte Elementary and also volunteered at Hospice of Huntington. She was a faithful member of Central United Methodist Church. She was the prayer chain coordinator for Central. She was a member of the Left-Fielders bible study and was a surrogate mother to each member of the group. She was a prayer warrior and loved Jesus Christ. Bonnie’s love and faith are what drew people to her. Once she spoke with you, she was praying for you and over you daily.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents Glen “Hack” Wilson and Betty Van Camp Wilson. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Bill Adams. She is survived by her children Kari Wolfe and Tom of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Courtney Nunez and Dwayne of Mont Belvieu, Texas, Joey Adams and Nikki of Huntington, West Virginia, and Sarah Tarpley and Terence of Marietta, Georgia. She was most proud of her nine grandchildren: Caitlyn, Makenzie, and Emily Adams, Emma, Erin, and Eli Nunez, Tylon and Tyton Tarpley, and Natasha Wolfe. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bonnie’s memory to Ebenezer Community Outreach Center at 1660 8th Avenue Huntington, West Virginia 25703.
