Brandon Scott Keaton

Brandon Scott Keaton, 37. of Dunbar, W.Va., formerly of Huntington, W.Va., passed away on Monday August 28, 2023 at the WVU Medicine Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston. He was cook. Brandon was born on November 13, 1985 in Huntington, W.Va. to Gregory Allen and Theresa Gillenwater Keaton. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Erma Moore; grandfather Jack Keaton, two step-brothers, J.D. and Matthew Mays; uncle, James Black; aunt, Teresa Walz; and four cousins, James Douglas, Justin Smoot, Matthew and Jennifer McCoy.  He is survived by his mother, Theresa Keaton; father, Gregory Keaton; fiancée, Jessica Bowles; daughters, Cadence Dillon, Daniele Keaton, Izzabella Donahoe, Annalise Donahoe, and Kaleigh Shoemaker; step kids, Makayla White, Conner Bowles, and Dakota McMasters; two brothers, Joshua Keaton and Justin Keaton; two sisters, Kayla Keaton and Kaylynn Keaton; two uncles, Robert Black and Mark Gillenwater; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many loving friends and extended family. Brandon was an avid fisher  and hunter. He also loved any outdoor activities including kayaking and hiking. He loved animals and provided a home for many of them. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 7 pm at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington. Friends may call from 5-7 pm on Friday at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington.

The family is requesting donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
