Brenda Alice Simmons

Brenda Alice Simmons, 68, of Huntington, W. Va., passed away Monday, August 17, 2009, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm Thursday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Elder David Whitten of the Jehovahs Witnesses Kingdom Hall. Entombment will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Huntington. She was born April 11, 1941 in Huntington, W. Va. a daughter of the late William Adams and Clara Lane Fudge. She was a homemaker and a dedicated member of the Jehovahs Witnesses. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Orval Lee Simmons and her son Raymond Mills. Survivors include two sons Bill Long of Sarasota, FL and Roy Burton Smith of Proctorville, OH; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers and a sister-in-law John Roy and Geneal Adams and William Adams all of Huntington; a sister Patsy Godfrey of Springfield, IL and several nieces and nephews.
