Brenda Carol Burk

Brenda Carol Burk, age 72, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. She was born on June 1, 1952 to Kelmer and Vetrice Thomas Green in Beckley, W.Va. Both parents; two young siblings, Gary and Rose; and an older brother, Elvin Green preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Rachel; brother, Bill (Shirley) Green; niece, Quintessence (Matt) Christian; nephew, Lee (Charlotte) Green; and several great nieces and nephes; as well as a sister-in-law, Henrietta Green. She was a retired nurse and resided at Highlawn Place for near 10 years. She will be missed by all who knew her. A graveside service will be conducted by Pastor Matthew Christian at 11 am on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Hillcrest Cemetery. Burial will follow. There will be no procession to the cemetery.
