Brenda Gail Frye

Brenda Gail Scott Frye, 59 of Kenova,WV , went home to be with Jesus, Sunday, June 25, 2023 at St. Mary's Medical Center.   Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 1st, 2023 at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Matthew Adams.  Burial will follow in Scott Family Cemetery, in Fort Gay,West Virginia.  Brenda was born May 11, 1964 in Huntington,WV a daughter of the late Jerry Bruce Scott and the late Rhoda Magalene Tackett Scott Marcum.She was preceded in death by her canine companion of 20 years, "Little Man". She is survived by her husband Rev. Donald Lee Frye, one daughter and son- in- law, Ashley Frye Covington (John) and one son, her "Baby Boy"  Donald Lee Frye II, her "Bonus Dad", Jesse Lee Marcum (Barbara), four brothers: Jerry Dwayne Tackett, Clifford Keith Scott (Missy), John Wesley Scott (Jodi), Martin Edward Scott, also many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, her "bonus kids", and church family of whom she loved all dearly and prayed for daily.  and  Her family will receive  visitors from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 1st, 2023  at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington, WV.  Online condolences may be made to the family at www.regerfh.com.
