Brenda Kay Rutherford

Brenda Kay Rutherford, 64 of Ceredo, WV passed away on July 25, 2016. She was born on February 4, 1952 in Kenova, WV; a daughter of Mitchell Raymond Gibson and Roberta Hatten Gibson. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and one brother-in-law, Steve Wilkes. She leaves behind to mourn her loss her children: Kenneth Underwood III (Amy) and Heather Marie Rutherford (Tony); her grandchildren: Hailey, Marshall, Megan, Brandon, Cierra and Anthony. Also surviving are her siblings: Butch Gibson (Leslie), Joanie Gibson-Wilkes and John Gibson (Pamela) and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Brenda will be conducted on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 1 p.m. with visitation 2 hours prior at Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Byard officiating. Burial will follow at Hatten Cemetery off Centerville Road in Prichard, WV. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the funeral home to assist with burial expenses.
