Brian L. Jones

Brian L. Jones, gained his heavenly wings on Sunday April 14, 2024 while surrounded by loved ones. Brian had battled a hard fight with an aggressive cancer for the last year and is finally at peace.  Brian was born on February 19, 1973. He was raised by Frank & Bessie Combs in Wayne, WV.  He was in the Wayne High School graduating class of ‘91.  He was just short of celebrating 32 years of marriage with his one and only true love Veronica (Thompson) Jones. His love for her will never be matched by another. They have three wonderful sons together; Matthew (Elex) Jones, Stephen Jones, and Taylor Jones. He was his boys number one fan in anything they were a part of. His two grandchildren, Harper & Colter Jones, were the absolute light of his life.  He is also survived by his sister, Denise (Scott) Childers, his brother Greg (Norma) Combs, Father-in-law Pete (Sheila) Thompson, a sister-in-law Carla (James) Clay, and several nieces & nephews; Morgan, Allison, Kirsten, Bailey, & Kaylie.  His family would like give special thanks to his work company, ABC Supply Co. Inc, for their kindness during his illness and Dr. Melin Moses for not only his friendship but his amazing healthcare.  Brian’s Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Freedom Family Worship Center starting at 6pm. Address is 25 Private Dr. 3, Chesapeake, OH 45619.  Reger Funeral Home, Huntington, is assisting the family with arrangements.
