Carol Joyce Huxham

Carol Joyce (Smith) Huxham passed peacefully to her eternal home with Jesus April 22, 2021 in Laporte, MN, at the age of 87.  Carol was born in Huntington, WV on November 4, 1933 to Charles Ronald and Cleo Virginia (Doss) Smith.  Carol graduated from Huntington, High School in 1950 at the age of 16.  She married Claude Wallace Huxham June 6, 1953.  They made their home together primarily in Columbus, OH until 2013 when failing health caused them to move into the care of Laurian in Minnesota.  She was preceded in death by her husband, her infant son Daniel Duane, her parents, her brother Danny and her sisters Patricia (John Hart) and Jeanettte (Bo) Weaver.  She is survived by her daughters Claudia (Paul) Muller and Laurian (Tom) Halverson; 11 grandchildren Daniel (Sarah) Muller, Lydia (Ben) Yarborough; David, Hannah and Stephen Muller; Care, Teresa, Naomi, Jovanna, Juan and Noelani Halverson; and 10 great grandchildren- Jonathan, Samuel, Karissa, Caleb and Ethan Muller, Holden, Camden and Eden Yarborough and Sapphire and Tidus Petrie.  A graveside service will be held June 6, 2021 at Huxham Family Cemetery, Huntington, WV with Rev.
