Carolyn Sue Artrip

Carolyn Sue (Christian) Artrip, born April 8, 1950, loving wife of 45 years to Charles Bernard Artrip Sr. went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family. The loving mother of Charles B. �Boe� Artrip Jr. and companion Regina Spencer and Paul (Kimberlie) Artrip. Grandmother of her small baseball team; Chad W. (Kristina) Artrip, Charles L. Artrip, Aaron B. Artrip, & Travis E, Artrip. She is the daughter of Paul J. and Hester (Watts) Christian. Her siblings are Homer Christian, Larry Christian, Mike Christian, Marlene Lawless, and JoAnne Bell. There are a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives along with a special niece Carmalita Christian, friends Barbara Goodpaster, Bonnie McSweeny, and Tonya Webb. She was a retired Sunday School Teacher and member of the 20th St. Baptist Church of Kenova. The family would like to thank Huntington Hospice and the members of the 20th St. Baptist Church for their support and generosity. Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm Wednesday at the 20th St. Baptist Church with Rev. John McSweeny officiating. Entombment will follow at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Tuesday at the Church. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donation to the 20th St. Baptist Church P.O. Box 561, Kenova, WV 25530.
