Carrie Jean Brumfield

Carrie Jean Brumfield, 75, of Huntington died Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born February 23, 1934 in Huntington to the late John Oscar and Virginia (Goodwin) Collins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond �Rod� Brumfield. Mrs. Brumfield worked for the American National Rubber Plant in Ceredo for many years. She is survived by two sons, Charles and Kathy Caperton of Huntington, Chester and Barb Caperton of Kenova and a daughter Cathy and Mike Jordan of Huntington. Additional survivors include seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel with Pastor Charles Spears officiating. Burial will follow in the Docks Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Monday at the Reger Funeral Home.
