Charles Arthur Watrous, Jr (Rusty), 61, from Huntington, WV died Friday, February 17, 2012 at St. Mary’s Hospital after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Shelia Bell Watrous; his mother, Patricia Nichols Watrous of St. Petersburg, FL; and two brothers, Dennis Watrous and Patrick Watrous both of St. Petersburg. FL. He has two daughters, Shannon W. Phillips and Heather Parker (and Dr. Jeffery Parker); and two step children, Lillian Brittney Bell Pelino (and Victor Pelino) and Trevor Bell. He has six grandchildren: Sarah Phillips, Bryson, Jackson and Colson Parker, Brenna Drown and Hayden Bell. Charlie was a Huntington East Alumni (’69) and a Marshall University Business graduate ‘(75). He was the original owner of Bojangles Bar and also started and managed Motec, Inc. His family and friends were his greatest achievement, and he devoted his time between them, working and poker. He was a hard worker and made the most of everyday. He will be remembered for being a wonderful son, husband, father, grandfather and friend. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Dr. C.J. Adkins. Burial will follow in Springhill Cemetery, Huntington. Visitation from 5 to 8 pm Monday at the Reger Funeral Home. Condolences may be made to the family at www.regerfh.com.
