Charles "Chuck" Elba Sanford, Jr.

Heaven gained an angel on March 8, 2023. Charles Elba Sanford, Jr. of Huntington, WV born April 12, 1972 to the late Charles Elba Sanford, Sr. and Sharon Cerlile Bias Sanford. Charles is survived by his loving wife of only 10 short years and 8 months Alicia Sanford and his 1 and only, apple of his eye daughter, Elbany Sanford. He is also survived by his Mother and Father-in-law Diane and Terry Ellis, who loved him like their own son; and his sister-in-law, Stephanie (Chuck) Watson who loved him like a brother; special nephews and nieces, Carter, Charlee, Madelynn, and Mason Watson all of Huntington, WV. Chuck is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he loved very much. Chuck was loved by many, he loved many, and will be missed by many. Our Chuck was genuine and very generous. He loved our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and served Him unapologetically.

The family would like to thank his Pastor and friend, Jason Paynter for the many visits and prayers during his short hospital stay. Also, we would like to thank our church family for the visits and prayers and all of the love and support we have received. We would also like to thank every friend and relative for all of the visits, calls, texts, messages, love, and prayers we have received during this difficult time. He had several special friends Tommy Romans, Kevin Epling, Tonya Lively, Jerry Porter just to name a few. He was proud to work for Soles Electric as a winder for almost 27 years and had a special bond with all of his coworkers.

Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Jason Paynter and Bro Tommy Romans. Service will be held at Reger Funeral Home in Huntington, W.Va., on Sunday, March 12, 2023 with visitation from 12-2 pm and funeral service at 2 pm. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park.
