Charles Douglas Wellman

Charles Douglas Wellman, 88, of Huntington, WV went to be with his Lord on October 5, 2017 at his home. He was born February 25, 1929 to the late Charles Milton Wellman and Sarah Crabtree. Charles retired from Pilgrim Glass as a glass blower and was a member of Freewill Baptist Church in Kenova, WV. Charles was a veteran and served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his son, Phillip D. Wellman; his sisters, Vivian Spears, Doris Wellman and Dixie Wellman. He leaves behind to mourn his loss his wife, Linda (Carver) Wellman; his son, Timothy M. Wellman; his sisters, Donna Hager, Patsy Bocook and Emma Jean Black. Also leaves surviving are his nephews, Lonnie and Charles Wellman and niece, Bonnie Hall; great nephews, Jamie Hall, Michael Hall, Tommy Williams and Chuck Williams; great nieces, Megan Thompson and Angie George and a host of other friends and church family.
