Charles Edward "Tykie" Stover, Jr.

Charles Edward "Tykie" Stover, Jr.,76 of Huntington, WV   passed away, Friday, March 15, 2024 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the Reger Funeral Chapel.  Tykie was born December 17, 1947 in Huntington,WV a son of the late Charles E. Stover , Sr. and the late Oddra Kermid Adkins Stover.  He was a retired Civil Engineer for the City of Huntington.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister Linda Lou French.  Survivors include his life partner, Dessa Ruth Stover, two sons: Christopher  Bryan (Victoria) Stover, Jason Patrick Stover, and one daughter, Kimberly Lynn Stover. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Myson Stover, Lyric Stover, Kylan  Stover, Jacob Stover, Cora Basenback, Brandon Stover, Liam Stover, Donovan Buxton, Patience Stover and four great grandchildren: Mila Rose Stover, Estella Rain Stover , Declan Stover and Kyra Traylor, as well as one niece Michelle Dixon and one nephew Lee French.  Visitation will be at the Reger Funeral home from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 21, 2024.
