Charles Eugene Algeo

October 23, 1950 — October 22, 2023

On a crisp, fall afternoon, God told His faithful servant, "You've run your race. Come on Home!" So, Charles Eugene Algeo, aka Dave, Charlie, Dad, Paw, did just that. He ran on Home on Sunday, October 22nd, 2023, one day shy of his 73rd birthday. Charles was born on October 23rd, 1950, one of 10 children. His parents, Howard and Mary Algeo, preceded him in death. His beautiful Gloria, wife of 49 years, moved to Heaven in 2022, so I am sure they were overjoyed to see each other again. He is survived by his children, daughter Joye (Craig) Tucker and son Charles "Chuck" Algeo II, along with grandchildren Joseph (Danyella) Tucker and Emma-Lee Tucker, all of Barboursville, WV. In addition, "adopted in love daughter" Jillian (Jamie) White. He is also survived by an abundance of nieces, nephews, and many friends too numerous to list here. Charles was a retired bus driver and loved to talk about those days. He and Gloria also taught Sunday School for many years and they loved their church kids, never tiring of telling them about Jesus. The family would like to express our gratitude to our church family at River Cities Community Church for their prayers, calls and visits. We would also like to thank Hospice of Huntington for their kindness and support. There will be no services per his request. Reger Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.regerfh.com

Alright by Tomi Lynn Coley:

I know that you'll miss me

And that's OK to do

Just keep moving forward

Let worries be few

Don't go and be sad

Don't cry all day long

Remember the good days

And sing Heaven's Song

We'll soon be together

We'll see Jesus' Face

I've taken life's journey

I've finished my race

My tears have all stopped

I've got perfect sight

My speech is restored now

I'm more than alright!

‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭4:7‭-‬8‬ ‭ESV‬‬

[7] I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. [8] Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved His appearing.
