Charles William Kipp

Charles William Kipp, 67, of South Point, OH, died Friday, February 20, 2009 at the Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born January 22, 1942 in Huntington, WV a son to the late Leonard Isaac and Madeline Alma Basenback Kipp. Mr. Kipp united in marriage to Shirley Ann Hager Kipp who survives. In addition to his parents, Mr. Kipp was preceded in death by one son, Keith Kipp, one brother, Leonard Kipp Jr. and one sister, Dorothy Faye Kipp. He is survived by three sons, Jack, Charles, and Richard Kipp; and one daughter, Tina Louise Kipp. Additional survivors include a brother, Carlos Eugene Kipp and a sister Helen Jean Keeney along with a special friend James �Punch� Hart. Mr. Kipp also leaves behind eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and one grandchild who is �on the way.� Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Monday, February 23, 2009 at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Rev. James Wells officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Huntington. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home.
