CHARLOTTE GERTRUDE DIAMOND, 86, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at Best Care in Wheelersburg, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Reger Funeral Chapel. B urial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Kenova, W.Va. She was born July 3, 1925 in Wayne County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Lee and Mary Adkins. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Carroll Adkins, Lee Adkins, Jr., Tillman Adkins, Herman Adkins and Hiram Adkins, and two sisters, Lola Dee Bowen and Hazel Leffler. Survivors include her husband, James Diamond; three sons and daughters-in-law Stephen T. and Martha Diamond of Wheelerburg, Ohio, Rick L. and Netha Diamond of Bryans Rd., Maryland, and David B. and Belinda Diamond of Chesterfield, Va.; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and a sister, Rilda Egan of Huntington, W.Va.
