Cheryl was a homemaker for the past 56 years. She worked at Bailey’s Cafeteria where she met the love of her life James who preceded her in death this past August. She enjoyed cooking and baking. She loved her church family at Jackson Avenue Church of God Holiness. She was the daughter of the late William and Opal Daniels Murphy. She was preceded in death by two brothers, William Terrance and Danny Murphy; two sisters, Barbara Gay Murphy and Penny Eastham. Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly and husband Stephen with whom she resided and was cared for in their home. Granddaughter, Daniele Watts; grandson, Tyler Watts; daughter, Teresa Kelly; granddaughters, Samantha Hughart and Tabitha Gibson; sisters, Deanna Simmons and Lana Marcum; brother, Jeffrey (Robin) Murphy. She had several nieces and nephews she loved very much.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 1:00pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Preacher Mark Thompson. Burial will follow in Earl Cemetery Huntington, WV.
