Chester Woods

Chester A. Woods, 71, of Ceredo, WV passed away Monday, July 31, 2007 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was a veteran of the US Army and retired from Owens Illinois Glass Company Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 2:00 pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel with Minister David Roach. Burial will follow at the Spring Valley Memory Gardens. Chester was born on August 28, 1935 in Wayne County, WV the son of the late Walter S. and Elizabeth Crabtree Woods. He is survived by his wife of 48 years; Clara Smith Woods Two sons and daughters in law: James and Kimberly Woods of Kenova, WV and Robert and Catrina Woods of Fredericksburg, Va. One daughter and son in law: Karen and Paul Neal of Roanoke, VA. Four grand sons: David, Chris, Adam and Daniel Woods and a step granddaughter: Katlin Wolfrey. One sister: Faye Penny of Bay City, TX. Friends may call from 5-7 pm Thursday at the Reger Funeral Home Contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
