Christopher Jason Salyer

Christopher Jason Salyer, 52, of Kenova, WV passed away on April 26, 2024 after he fought a long hard battle with cancer. He left this world surrounded by love of his family, from the comfort of his home. Chris was born in April 3, 1972 in Jacksonville, North Carolina. He was a hardworking man who took extreme pride in his work in carpentry and especially enjoyed working with driftwood. Chris enjoyed motorcycling, fishing, spending time with family and friends but most especially he treasured the special moments spent with his Twerp. His free-spirited approach to life was admired by many . Chris was an all around amazing man who was loved dearly. His loss will be felt profoundly but in his words

“We gotta Keep on keepin on!” Chris leaves behind his partner and Intertwined Star, Angie Parrish-Spangler, two daughters Alicia Robertson and Sierra Salyer, his “Momma” Barbara Gail Burton, his Father Timothy Charles Salyer, Sister Misty Lynn Salyer-Wheeler and “Little Sis” Lisa Dawn Salyer. He was also a proud Peppa to two beautiful grandchildren. Chris was a beloved uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin and best buddy “brother” to many.

Although Chris’ journey on this earth has come to an end, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Rest in peace, Chris. You will be deeply missed.
